Introduction to Children of the Sea, Children of the Lord

Children of the Sea, Children of the Lord is my second set of stories from my experience aboard ship in the United States Merchant Marine.  I owe the idea for this collection to Adam Davis, a friend who read the original manuscript of From the Sea to the Temple.  Regarding some of the characters portrayed in those stories he remarked, "These guys are interesting.  Tell us more about them."  So here they are.  I hope you find them both entertaining and edifying.
